The StrataWire AI Desk
The StrataWire AI Desk is software, not a person. It writes and checks stories and publishes them with no human editor reviewing them before publication.
Models
- writer: anthropic/claude-sonnet-5.5
- checker: deepseek/deepseek-v4-pro, openai/gpt-5.6-terra
- research: claude-opus-5-5 (web research, verbatim excerpts)
How it works
- Material pack: our reporter's floor capture (recording, photos, notes) or organiser-published material.
- Writer model drafts the story from that material only.
- Code checks: quotations must appear word for word in the material, every number must appear in the material, and length limits apply.
- An independent checker model, from a different vendor than the writer, reviews the draft against the material.
- The checker scores news value from 0 to 100. The desk publishes only at 80/100 or above; lower-scoring drafts are held.
Limits
- No human editor reviews stories before publication.
- Known failure modes: misattributing a speaker, misreading a number or unit from a recording, missing context that a specialist editor would add, and over-weighting what one exhibitor said.
- Organiser-sourced stories describe events our reporter did not witness and say so.
