Inese Pritchard is the founder and Managing Director of IPGN Solutions, an Aberdeen-based business specialising in AI, business software and digital transformation. Her background spans supply chain management, manufacturing and project delivery. She holds a master’s degree in Supply Chain Management and qualifications in ISO standards, project management and process improvement. Her work focuses on helping organisations simplify operations and apply technology to practical business problems.

Every AI job, with its model and provider
AI does named jobs in the newsroom. None of them has a byline, and none can publish. This list is read from the same configuration the newsroom’s software runs on, so it changes when the models change.
Transcription
Turns a recorded interview into a timed transcript, so every quotation can be traced to the second it was said.
Human check: The reporter records with the speaker’s consent and checks who said what.
Interview translation
Translates a non-English interview transcript into English, line by line, keeping each line tied to the original.
Human check: Translated quotations are marked as translated; uncertainty is flagged, not guessed.
Cited research
Builds a cited research brief from a closed set of official sources; every claim must point to a source.
Human check: A reporter decides what, if anything, is used.
Story drafting
Drafts a reported story from the reporter’s recording and notes. Quotations can only be taken word for word from the transcript.
Human check: The draft is a draft. It cannot publish itself.
Independent story check
Checks every sentence of the draft against the evidence it cites. It comes from a different company from the model that wrote the draft, so one vendor’s blind spot cannot pass its own work.
Human check: A named person reads the checked draft and approves it, or sends it back.
Stand identification
Suggests which exhibitor a stand photo shows. Two models from different companies answer separately, and a name is never picked automatically on one opinion.
Human check: The reporter on the stand confirms the company.
