Careers & contributors
Correspondents and contributors, worldwide.
The Stratawire is built on field reporting: people at the shows, on the sites and in the languages where industry actually happens. If that is where you work, we should talk.
What we look for
Field reporting, in your language
We need people who can report from major industry events — energy, water, infrastructure, industrial technology, climate and AI — and from the projects and facilities between them. That means working a floor, getting the interview, checking the claim and filing something a practitioner can rely on.
Our reporting is published in English and translated for readers in other languages — current translations include Chinese, Korean, Swedish and Thai, and the list grows with our correspondents. Contributors who can report in another language and review a translation of their own work are especially valuable.
What matters most: sources you can verify, writing that respects the reader, and no appetite for manufacturing scale with thin content.
The method
How we work with AI
The Stratawire is human-led. People obtain the access, hold the conversations and decide what is published. AI is infrastructure: it assists research, transcription, translation and verification, and every quotation we publish is traceable to a recording.
AI never creates a person’s words, and it never publishes — a human editor makes every publication decision. For material AI work we record which model did it. Our decision model advises on judgment calls; it does not write.
Contributors work the same way: you can use our research and transcription tooling, but the reporting, the sources and the byline are yours.

Your beat, your languages, the events you can work, and anything you have published that shows how you report. An editor will reply personally.
